Halloween


Hi Parents and students,The kids are very excited for halloween tomorrow (Many discussions about costumes and where to find the best candy).


Costumes are able to be worn in the afternoon as long as they don't include pretend weapons or masks that completely cover the face. In the morning costumes are not to be worn!


We have been writing spooky stories in class and will be sharing them tomorrow, so make sure you don't forget to bring it in if you're still adding finishing touches to it.


I mentioned to the students that they were able to bring in a healthy-ish snack to share with the class while we listen to the stories in the afternoon if they would like to.

What Is A Lever? A  lever  is a simple  machine  consisting of a bar that rotates around a fixed point. The fixed point of a lever is called the fulcrum. Like other machines, a lever makes work easier by changing the force applied to the machine or the  distance  over which the force is applied. Math challenge

There are 78 people going on a field trip to the zoo. They need to drive in cars to get there.  If each car holds 6 people, how many cars are needed to take all the visitors to the zoo? 1.
