Welcome back Everyone!
I hope everyone had a great break and had time off to spend together.

 We are refreshed and back in full swing again; learning about light and shadow, multiplication and revising our regions of Alberta knowledge. The students and I have been on a roll in gym loving the Alien inline skating unit with some great skills on display and students skating rings around their (beginner skater) teacher. 

 To extend the knowledge of your child get them to explore and then explain the following resources we have been exploring in class.

What Is A Lever? A  lever  is a simple  machine  consisting of a bar that rotates around a fixed point. The fixed point of a lever is called the fulcrum. Like other machines, a lever makes work easier by changing the force applied to the machine or the  distance  over which the force is applied.
