Reports out tomorrow No school on Friday

Hi parents just a reminder that school report will be handed out at 3:20 tomorrow and there will be no school on Friday.  Students have been working hard in class and have fit back into the school routine with some positive learning evident in the room. We have been doing some fun experiments with light and shadows that you should ask about as well a quizzing them on multiplication facts. We will be starting on division soon!  We are taking part in the BMO entrepreneurial challenge again this year which will help us learn about simple machines, business and leadership skills, plants and growth and much more. Our class will be trying to raise funds for an unknown charity (We vote tomorrow) by creating and selling as many plants as possible. To do this we would love your help and support. If you have or know anyone with top soil, plant pots, seeds or plants we could collect cuttings from that would help us greatly, and allow the students to further enrich their learning.
Welcome back Everyone! I hope everyone had a great break and had time off to spend together. We are refreshed and back in full swing again; learning about light and shadow, multiplication and revising our regions of Alberta knowledge. The students and I have been on a roll in gym loving the Alien inline skating unit with some great skills on display and students skating rings around their (beginner skater) teacher.  To extend the knowledge of your child get them to explore and then explain the following resources we have been exploring in class.
