Simple Machines

Simple machines   make work easier for us by allowing us to push or pull over increased distances.  There are SIX simple machines:  Type Example Activity 1.    Pulley  -  How Stuff Works A pulley is a simple machine that uses grooved wheels and a rope to raise, lower or move a load. Jump Rope for Heart

This February Our school is going to be skipping for the  Jump Rope for Heart foundation. All our students are invited to help with the fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation throughout February. This will be done at school and can be done at home too.  If you would like to fundraise for the event, please follow the instructions below. To sign up for online fundraising and more information about Jump Rope for Heart please go to the website   www.jumpropeforheart.ca  and click on the following links and follow the instructions. • ‘Join school’ – search Copperfield School • Click ‘join school’ • ‘Join as new participant’ – fill in all your personal information, set a goal, invite your friends and start fundraising.
